The 15% commission is applied on transactional values as part of the revenue-sharing model. The RM3,000 deposit is refundable subject to the agreed contract conditions. Typically, the deposit is returned at the end of the 2-year contract term, provided that: (1) the machine is returned in good working condition with no significant damage, (2) all outstanding payments and charges are fully settled, (3) there are no breaches of the partnership agreement, and (4) proper notice is given per contract terms. The machine buy-over option allows partners to purchase the vending machine outright by paying an additional RM1,500 top-up, subject to agreement. Once bought over, the partner owns the machine and can continue operating it independently. The buy-over can be exercised during or at the end of the contract term. The RM3,000 refundable deposit serves as a security deposit for the vending machine and its equipment. It covers potential damages beyond normal wear and tear, loss of equipment or components, unpaid refill charges, and any outstanding fees during the contract period. Importantly, this is NOT a rental fee — it is a fully refundable security deposit returned upon satisfactory completion of the contract terms.
